In electronic government, m-governance falls under the umbrella of e-governance. Through the use of mobile technologies, such as mobile phones, people can access electronic services. This allows them to communicate and collaborate without relying on traditional physical networks.
Goals- A mobile-friendly government aims to make public services easily accessible to citizens. By extending the benefits of remote delivery of government services and information to mobile users, mobile services are quickly emerging as a new frontier in government transformation. In order to strengthen democracy by facilitating enhanced utilization of public services, participation and empowerment of citizens, timely, accurate, and two-way communication between government and the people is a key. Government departments are increasingly using mobile technology, especially in agriculture, health care, financial services, retail trading, utilities, communications, manufacturing, transportation, and services. Several businesses are also offering their services through mobile phones, including the banking industry.
Aarogya Setu- The Ministry of Electronics and IT develops the Aarogya Setu Mobile App. In this way, people are able to assess their own risk of contracting Corona Virus infection. With the help of Bluetooth technology, state-of-the-art algorithms, and artificial intelligence, this will be calculated based on their interaction with others. It is highly recommended that all citizens download this application. The purpose of this is to warn the user when he comes into contact with a person who has tested positive. Ten Indian languages are available, along with English.
Grahak Sadak Koyla Vitaran App- As part of CIL's initiative to provide more coal to power plants, coal deliveries have been made through road routes from available pithead stock. Therefore, power plants near mines may take coal as far as they can from mines within 50 kilometers to 60 kilometers of the mine.
In order to achieve transparency in despatch operations, we launched the customer-friendly app, which helps to ensure that deliveries are made based on the fair The principle of 'First in First Out' is applied to the entire process, starting with the customer order and ending with the coal being delivered.
Jan Dhan Darshak App- Assessments can view the complete Banking infrastructure in India via the Jan Dhan Darshak application, which includes bank branches, ATMs, Mitra Bank, post offices, and CSC offices. By collecting data from Scheduled Commercial Banks, both public and private, the Department of Financial Services can track the financial status of both sectors.
Swachhata app- The Swachhata application is a mobile and web platform that provides complaint redressal services. India's Municipal Corporations have taken a huge step forward in dealing with complaints and grievances.
In order to address Swachh Bharat’s complaints, Swachhata focuses on the citizen and civic engagement.
An initiative of the Swachh Bharat Mission was undertaken in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

Mobile Seva Initiative- As mobile has become the primary delivery channel of different e-government services in India, mobile has established itself as a rapidly growing market. As mobile phones are widely available in the country, particularly in rural areas, providing government services over mobile phones is an essential measure to ensure citizens can get the services they need. In light of this, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) has announced it will develop and deploy mobile applications for all departments and agencies in order to provide all their services through mobile devices.
