As per the Constitution of India, Scheduled Tribes are first mentioned in the Constitution. As stated in Article 366 (25) of the Constitution, scheduled tribes are those tribes or tribal communities or parts of such tribes or tribal communities that are deemed under Article 342 to be Scheduled Tribes for the purposes of this constitution.
Eklavya Model Residential Schools- Scheduled Tribe (ST) students in remote areas are provided with quality middle- and high-level education through the EMRS in order for them to qualify for reservation in higher and professional education courses as well as employment in government and public sector jobs as well as to have access to the best education opportunities at par with the non-ST population.

Van Dhan Scheme- TRIFED and the Minister of Tribal Affairs are responsible for the Van Dhan Scheme. The initiative was launched on April 14, 2018, to add value to tribal products and improve tribal incomes.
As the central nodal department, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs will implement the program, while TRIFED will act as the national nodal agency. District collectors and the State Nodal Agency for MFPs are expected to play a pivotal role in the implementation of the scheme at the grassroots level. It is proposed that the Kendras be managed locally by a Managing Committee consisting of Van Dhan SHG representatives.
Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana - Van Bandhu Kalyan Yojana (VKY) for tribals' welfare has been launched by the Government of India's Ministry of Tribal Affairs. VKY strives to create enabling environments for the holistic development of tribal communities based on needs and outcomes. A convergence of resources through an adequate institutional mechanism will guarantee the expected benefits of the programs of goods and services under various programs/schemes of central and state governments to reach the target groups.
Tribal areas and areas with tribal populations throughout the country are covered by it.
