Nobody likes visiting the dentist, it is often said. If you've got to pay a hefty sum to have any dental problems resolved, one of the least fun things is to have someone poke and prod inside your mouth with sharp metal instruments. A skilled dentist is suddenly your best friend when you're dealing with a major dental issue like a broken or abscessed tooth. In excruciatingly painful, mind-numbing pain, it is nearly impossible to function normally. The dentist can quickly alleviate the pain. When SHTF and emergency situations arise, going to the dentist may not always be feasible. If there are any dentists left, they may not be able to help you because they are busy or out of the country. As such, dental care and emergency treatment should be understood at a basic level. You may find yourself squeamish, but it may be necessary to pull your own teeth or fill your own cavities.
Teeth Development- During a child's development, he or she gets two sets of teeth. During the first few months of a child's life, the first set of teeth begins to erupt. When you reach school age, you get your second and last set of teeth. A permanent tooth is one that cannot be extracted. Permanent teeth shouldn't wear out or break.
Development of baby teeth- As a child grows in the mother's womb, his or her baby teeth are formed. As a baby grows, its teeth take on their final shape during the last months of pregnancy and the first few months after birth.
Permanent teeth- It is under the baby teeth that most permanent teeth form.
