Products that are allowed for use in organic farming are referred to as agricultural inputs. The list includes animal feed, fertilizers, and plant protection products as well as approved detergents, additives, and fertilizers used in food production.

Bio-inputs

Biofertilizers- Microorganisms in the soil play an important role in helping plants to absorb nutrients. In addition to selecting and culturing efficient organisms, seeds can also be added directly to soils to increase their utility. A bio-fertilizer is a culture of microbes packaged in a few vectors for easy application in the field. Consequently, microorganisms are the most important input in biofertilizers.

Farm Machinery

Drip irrigation system- Water is distributed on the soil at very low rates by drip irrigation, which uses plastic pipes with small diameters and emitters called drippers. Unlike surface and sprinkler irrigation, which wets the whole soil profile, close to the plants, water is applied so that only a portion of the soil in which the roots grow is wetted. Plants tend to flourish when water is applied more often (usually every 1-3 days) when using drip irrigation water as it provides a very favorable high moisture level in the soil. It consists of mainlines, subdomains, and lateral lines that carry water to the crops via emission points arranged along their length. Drippers or emitters direct water, nutrients, and other growth substances into the root zone of the plant at a controlled, uniform rate.

By combining the forces of gravity and capillary action, water and nutrients enter the soil through the emitters. With this system, the plant's withdrawal of moisture and nutrients is replenished almost immediately, ensuring that the plant does not they are stressed by moisture withdrawal, increasing its quality,  ability to achieve optimal growth and high yields.

Sprinkler Irrigation System- Using a pump, sprinkler irrigation systems apply water under high pressure. By placing a nozzle of a small diameter in the pipes, the water is released like rain. A wide range of discharge capacities allows water to be distributed through pipes, sprayed into the air, and irrigated in most soil types.

Agro enterprises

In agriculture and the bio-economy, it is also called bio-business or bio-enterprise and refers to the enterprises, the industry, and the fields of study within value chains. Agricultural businesses primarily rely on renewable natural resources such as forestry, fisheries, fuel, and fiber to optimize profitability and satisfy consumer demands for products related to these natural resources - usually excluding non-renewable resources like mining. Agriculture is not the only aspect of agribusiness.

Agricultural extension happens as a part of the broader agribusiness system, which includes input supplies, value-added activities, marketing, entrepreneurship, microfinance, and agricultural extension, among others.

Floriculture- In floristry, flowers, and foliage plants are grown and marketed. Plants were grown for direct sale or as raw materials for the cosmetic, perfume, and pharmaceutical sectors are considered to be part of floriculture. Besides seeds, cuttings, budding, and grafting, it also includes the production of planting materials. To put it simply, floriculture is the art and science of growing flowers to perfection. Floriculturists are those who work in this field.

Hydroponics- Using mineral nutrient solutions in water, hydroponics is a method of growing plants without soil, using mineral nutrient solutions. It is also possible to grow terrestrial plants in an inert medium, such as perlite, gravel, etc., with their roots in mineral nutrient solutions only

The food production system is hampered by several factors, including the inaccessibility of sufficient water resources, in particular groundwater, land fragmentation, a low literacy level among farmers, inadequate infrastructure, the conversion of land for agriculture into residential projects, and technological limitations in improving crop productivity.

Kitchen Garden- With the importance of vegetables, we have developed the concept of growing our own vegetables in our own backyards using fresh water and our kitchens.
