Women and e-Governance

Mahila E- Haat is dedicated to helping women entrepreneurs achieve their objectives and meet their needs. Women can advertise their products on this online marketing platform for women. As part of the 'Digital India' and 'Stand Up India' initiatives, this initiative targets women in various parts of the country. RMK was founded by the Ministry of Women and Child Development under the leadership of Rashtriya Mahila Kosh (RMK).

Features- This website allows women entrepreneurs to showcase the products they make/produce/sell using technology.

• As well as showcasing their own creative potential, women can also demonstrate what they offer as services.
• The entire E-Haat process can be undertaken by the producer via mobile, which is why the company only needs the producer's mobile number.
• E-Haat will display on the site a product's photograph, description, price as well mobile phone number/address of the manufacturer in order to facilitate the purchase/sale of products online. As such, it facilitates the marketing of products by women entrepreneurs and SHGs by acting as a direct interface between buyers and sellers.

National Women's Information Repository- The National Information Repository for Women, an instrument of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, is a valuable resource portal that provides women, and citizens, with easy access to information about government schemes and initiatives tailored to women and children.
