The process of administering an online test to determine a participant's knowledge and mastery of a subject is known as online assessment. An online assessment could be used to determine a candidate's skills, knowledge, or learning capacities, for example.

Numerical reasoning, inductive logical thinking, and verbal reasoning exams, as well as personality surveys and other types of evaluations, are all available online.

An organized, careful evaluation of an individual's talents, qualities, knowledge, or expertise is what an online assessment is, in basic terms. The test is conducted online using cutting-edge web-based technologies.

Online assessments are made up of a series of questions that evaluate many characteristics of a test taker and are tailored to the job function, level, and competency criteria. These assessments provide a neutral assessment of a candidate's abilities.

Types- Online evaluations are dual in nature, in that they can be used in both qualitative and quantitative ways. A test to determine how quickly a person completes a coding task, for example, will quantify her/his technical expertise. A reaction-based assessment exam designed to analyze a subject's soft skills, on the other hand, can assist unearth fresh parts of her or his personality.

Formative Assessment

Summative Assessment
